If you think all a nutritionist does is help you lose weight, then you're a fool, since anybody should be able to tell you how to lose weight: Spend more calories than you intake.
A nutritionist can't help a boxer if he has to lose a lot of weight. Sorry. They can not help a boxer in any way shape of form UNLESS that fighter doesn't have a lot OF WEIGHT to lose, or if he is gaining muscle rising in weight. It helped jones against ruiz, and back fired for tarver against b-hop

If you honestly believe this then you can't be helped.

A nutritionist isn't a miracle worker. They can only do as much as their employer/client will allow them time to do. Further, if a fighter has to lose "a lot OF WEIGHT" then the fighter is an idiot. Learn to stay healthy before the fight is upon you or you've nobody to blame except yourself.

I thought your points were established in the first couple of points in the thread.
I said it was a last ditch attempt and is sign of not being properly prepared and you call that ******.

So your argument is that nutritionists aren't good at doing something that is basically impossible?

Holy dog ****. Stop the ****ing presses.

You must be a nutritionist, or a kid. It's funny how someone co-signs you on this thread and says the on;ly smart person on this thread. This is boxing talk. Degenerates and insults aren't allowed.

Nope, that's not my argument at all.

The nutritionist works around the fighter, He gives the boxer what he needs according to boxing ... Hence the reason hes advising a boxer .. Not a footballer.

I'm not sure how me understanding how a diet effects the body means I'm a nutritionist or a kid. You can not expect your diet to do all of the work for you. However, if you are smart and use the diet properly w/ your training regime then it can only help you. There is no downside to eating properly... except the taste at times.

They aren't good for boxers period, that is why they are seldom used in the sport of boxing. It doesn't take a lot of money to pay a nutritionist. They just don't benefit boxers.
