    Khan/Gomez remind me of Cotto/Corley!

Khan fought good not great against a ok opponent. He got knocked down he got up and the stoppage was a bit premature. I am a Khan fan and hope he follows Cotto's footsteps. Keep getting better opposition step by step vs going after the big guns now (Campbell, Pacman, JMM, Guzman). Cotto kept getting better opposition as his career progressed. If Khan stays on track maybe fighting 4 fights a year by the end of 2009 he will be ready for the best. When Cotto fought in the beginning of his career everybody questioned his Chin and Defense. Just like Khan now.

Exactly, fights like this will do him no end of good, because Gomez just wanted to walk him down and fight on the inside, he coped ok with the constant pressure.
I think he could fight Gomez again, it'd do him good to try and box him rather than trying to knock him out. He was just rushing a bit, he's still a kid for ****s sake, I dunno what all the hatred is for, he will be good.
