See, that's why I just don't bet with anybody online. I've considered it a few times recently, but every time I do I remember getting stiffed for points here a couple of times, and then for cash on another boxing forum over the Wright/Trinidad fight. Points don't matter a tinker's damn, it's the principle itself, but the cash does, especially when I'd have paid if I were the one who lost. Just goes to show that you really can't trust anyone anymore.made the mistake betting another scottsman. like godofwar precision is welching on his bet. he pms me saying he's not going to pay up because the fight didnt go past six rounds. my bet with him was that fight goes over 5 and one half rounds. the fight was stopped at 2:29 in the 5th

I know what you mean, and I'm sure so do most, but not Precision.
Next time, make bets that end with the round, not in the middle, that way there can be no confusion.[/quote]
hun over/under bets are always half rounds. think about it.please this ignorance is dibilitating. look at how sportsbooks do it my friend! thats how its done in the adult world:http://sports.bodoglife.com/sports-betting/boxing.jspComment

Precision, if there was a misunderstanding about the bet, then you shouldn't have paid until it was completely cleared up and both parties agreed to the
And Steelhead, 5 and 1/2 rounds is mid-point of the 6th round. So like others said here.....he's right. If you accepted the bet as he worded it, then you're the one in the wrong, not him, and you ought to give him his money back and pay up yourself.
At the very least, you should give him his 5k back, appologize for making a public trial out of nothing more than a misunderstanding, and choose wording more carefully. When you say 5 and 1/2 rounds, you're talking about halfway into the 6th. That's why most people use the wording "Midpoint of the 5th", or "1 minutes 30 seconds into the 5th". Honestly, it sounds to me like you were the one who misunderstood, not him, and that you owe the man an appology at the least.
P.S.
I'm from Scottish stock, and while we may not like paying bets, we always pay up when we lose, which is pretty rarely. I think you're confusing Scots with the Welsh.Comment
