A little over anxious, but after those first nerves he was just taggin his guy up.

Can't believe someone said he had no accuracy or chin. He was pretty ****in accurate and smart with his punches. He kept goin to the body after he hurt the dude and he basically put leather all over his face with that nice handspeed. He broke a tough guy down the way you're suppose to.

As for his chin, he got hit with a punch he didn't see comin against the ropes with his head up. After that he got hit with 2 or 3 hooks straight up and took those shots easily.

And anyone complainin about an early stoppage, lol Gomez wasn't doin **** but keepin his gloves up and eatin punches, he wasn't throwin, he was just eatin leather.

lol Khan looked far better then what everyones sayin, I can't believe how he can break a guy down like that and have everyone sayin he looked like ****, lol people are ****in crazy. How could you look that good and have everyone tellin you that you're garbage!?

Im still trying to find out if Khan is the amature i seen in the Olympics(when Rocky Juarez competeted in) cause if that was him people were already talking of him like he's the next superstar. And he was middle eastern. And if that was him i remembr being impressed. But with all the negative talk i have yet to see a Khan fight. Maybe i'll check this one out and see what the hype is all about.

edit: I seen Gamboa fight a few weeks ago, his recent fight and i think he is over rated. He's a good fighter but already over rated.

Yer Gomez wanted to kill Khan and he dealt with him well. Only bad point was the hook really. Kahn needs to learn to duck hooks but I'm sure a permanent trainer will sort him out good.

Because people just want to hate on anything so they look for different excuses to base there hate on, The guy is only 21 and can only get better..He can never win at the moment, If he says he want to fight the top guys he gets slated for it...if he fights the tough shot but experience guys then they accuse him of fighting a bum...so what is it guy? I don't have a big concern because of that shot. It was in close and Khan didn't see it. The Limond one was a lot more concerning to me..

I think he looked sharp and fast but by getting too involved with Gomez he made it harder than it had to be.

I agree. When I watched the fight this morning I realized how exaggerated some of the comments were. Khan has a very sharp right cross.

They do that with Amir Khan in every single fight, Create a thread and talk negative about him after every fight. He looked alright he was down from a flash KD IMO. I hope he improves his defense and throws more bodyshot, the bodyshot hurt Gomez more than anything.

When Khan hit him with all those face shots i was thinking, how hard Gomez chin must be. But then realized he has been stopped in his last 3 fights?

And soon after khan was hit by the bodyshot in the 4th round, khan landed a 5 straight punch combination on Gomezs face as Gomez was backpeddling in a straight line. Like out of a Rocky movie. But he still didnt go down. I was thinking why Gomez dont change direction when backpeddling. Arent boxers taught not to go backwards in a straightline?

I agree he should never have got too involve with Gomez who is a very tough fighter at domestic level but i think this would make him a better fighter in the long run.
