Team Sauerland Issue Statement on Alexander Abraham

Contrary to other reports, Alexander Abraham did not violently attack Edison Miranda or any member of his team following the knockout victory of King Arthur Abraham this weekend. The brother of the IBF middleweight champion was detained in a casino nearby to the arena after the fight due to the disturbance of an event. Early on Sunday morning (local time), he was set free for an administration fee of 100 U.S Dollars without any further sanctions. The accusations levelled at him – that he had attacked Edison Miranda or a member of his team – have proven to be absolutely unfounded. “I did not violently attack Miranda or any of his team,” said Alexander Abraham. “It was completely the other way around – our team was attacked by Miranda’s people with chairs.” [details]

Alex Abraham is the man who lifts Arthur after Miranda is knocked out.

Something happens at 4:20 but it is not clearly shown. Does Alexander kick Miranda or does he just talk trash to him? Either way, one of Abraham's cornermen tries to restrain Alex while Arthur and the guy with the blond hair stare at him.

Arthur says something to Alex, is this an accurate translation?

There are photos of him running into the ring to hug Arthur. He was not at the casino all night and both the press release and our previous brief confirm that he was detained and paid a bail of $100.00 dollars. Now he says that Miranda's people attacked him with chairs - let's see the video of that.

This version of events is true. I talked to my boy who went to the fight, and he told me that nobody came close to kicking anyone, and that fans of both Abraham and Miranda were not doing anything but barking at each other. When Abraham won, Alex and the Abraham fans started pointing and talking that their man won and that the miranda fans started to come at abraham and his fans. Both sides were talking crap, and Alex happened to be a part of the crowd that was talking back to the Miranda fans. Nothing major happened. Alex was the most vocal of the crowd and was detained.
