Abraham can't throw with power from the guard.

He uses it very effectively against someone like Miranda, who just punches into it, then occasionally tries to throw an uppercut (?????) to the body. Abraham lets a guy like that momentarily punch himself out and then he loads up on some very wild punches. You get a guy like Pavlik, let him get into the guard and then dig some viscous hooks to the body, that guard will drop and it'll be all over.

Point is, no matter who you are, you can't throw with power directly from the guard, which is one reason why guys like Winky don't have a lot of knockouts.

He can throw the uppercut from the guard, he did just that against Ayala in the 12th and had him unconcious.

Arthur has legit one-punch KO power though. He picks his spots intelligently from outside, but especially inside. He has the shortest KO distance of any active fighter I know of (Brewster and Oscar were close).

Pavlik will give AA openings on the inside. Knocking out Kelly is a strong possibility for AA.

Yeah, but he leaves himself wide open and telegraphs when he throws it. Against Pavlik, that would be very costly.

if arthur had to fight sturm he would have to come forward and fight cause sturm would box his head off is arthur tried that defence

better jab and faster would be sturms biggest advantage

Abraham is very accurate and efficient in choosing his shots, the only time he will throw an uppercut against a guy like Pavlik, it WILL land, and it will hurt.
