MaxBoxing/BoxingScene.com was advised this morning that Alexander Abraham was released by the Broward County Sheriffs at 11am after making bail. I was told by one officer that the bail amount was only $100.00 dollars. Alexander was only charged with "resisting officers and obstruction." He was not charged with assault, but the Broward County Sheriffs department advised me that the assaulted person would have to press charges against Alexander in order for the charge of assault to be issued. This is all obviously bull****. They don't make $100 bail for something like that. I just re-watched it and Alex was around Arthur at all times except a few moments where they showed Miranda being attended by doctors and his team. There is nothing there to even hint at the violence. Surely, they would show the event if it ever happen. Instead, in about 2 minutes, they announce the winner and go to the post-fight interviews.

If Alex didnt do anything why was he arrested??? Is it because he was black...lol??? According to some DUMB people on here Alex didnt do anything because they couldnt see it on camera...Duh, What about the majority of the people who were at the ringside and witness something happened?

Alexander Abraham Update!
Team Sauerland statement on Alexander Abraham:
Contrary to other reports, Alexander Abraham did not violently attack Edison Miranda or any member of his team following the knockout victory of King Arthur Abraham this weekend. The brother of the IBF middleweight champion was detained in a casino nearby to the arena after the fight due to the disturbance of an event. Early on Sunday morning (local time), he was set free for an administration fee of 100 U.S Dollars without any further sanctions. The accusations levelled at him – that he had attacked Edison Miranda or a member of his team – have proven to be absolutely unfounded. “I did not violently attack Miranda or any of his team,” said Alexander Abraham. “It was completely the other way around – our team was attacked by Miranda’s people with chairs.” The reports which had been spreading around US internet websites that Arthur Abraham has been ordered to pay a fine of 100,000 US Dollars are false. The champion and his team will return to Germany on Monday morning without leaving any unresolved legal wrangles behind.
