I thought Andre Berto looked great. I've seen him fight a few fights before but he never really appealed as a fighter who fit the hype...
He looked real good in his fight against Miki...
And i think Miki put up a real good fight...showed a lot of heart and determination.
I thought the Chazz v. Chris fight was terrible on the ref's part.
Chris would have more than likely stopped chazz the very next round but the ref played it all wrong.
Even though the ref concluding the knockdown happened BEFORE the bell rang i dont see why you should DQ Chazz because his cornermen came into the ring...they heard the bell and thought the knockdown didnt count and got into the ring (well the one guy stood on the edge of the outer ring).
They didnt really get invovled until he beat the 8 count.
i think the ref was way too tough on them.
I mean compared to the Judah/Mayweather circus act this was nothing.
Roger mayweather did a lot more in THAT fight than his corner did...roger started a riot...chazz's corner just thought the round was over and didnt interfere in the fight itself really.
If judah didnt get a DQ win over mayweather then Chris absolutely shouldnt have got a DQ win over something so minor.
Like i said, i believe Chirs would have stopped him within the first minute of the next round but you have to give Chazz at least a chance to be fair.
On a side note I thought chazz looked pretty athletic and agile compared to most of the modern heavyweights...just needs some work.
