That was the first time I'd seen Arthur fight. I admit that I was thinking of Wright when I saw the way he covered up. It looks similar. Abraham is not "the man" at MW now because of this win. Kelly already beat the hell out of Miranda.

Now we have a great MW unification bout to look forward to, Pavlik vs. Abraham.

He's a much better fighter than I thought.

That was in fact probably his best showing overall. lol I mean he just toyed with Miranda and was sitting still absorbing punches on his gloves like Wright does.

That was impressive, I've never seen him like that. He looked more solid and professional in this fight also.

He was always on balance and in other fights of his........he tends to pull straight back in a cuter style and gets sloppy at times. The version of Abraham that knocked Miranda out tonight is good enough to give anyone at middleweight big time problems.

Yeah his defense was like Wright's tonight.

Because Abraham has the shell defense, but that's not going to mean anything against Pavlik. If he tried to cover up and not throw back he'd get strafed with straight punches.

And there's just no way he could use that rope a dope routine on Pavlik. That works on someone who flails power punches with abandon. But Pavlik is always on balance and never flails anything.........except for those weird uppercuts that are like rangefinders and the backhanded jabs that just mask the right hand.
