Miranda a dissappointment or Aberham a Great fighter?

IMO Miranda has really let alot of folks down, he was suppose to destroy Aberham this fight and he looked, dazed, confused lost and distracted early, his defense was suspect from the bell and he never really landed anything solid the entire fight.

Abe on the other hand was lathergic he stalked Miranda and when he missed he landed, most notably on the 2 and 3rd KD's. I dont know if he's elite but his a great talent and by winning the 1st fight under murky circumstances a broken jaw and a delirious ref, he proved this fight he is truely a warrior and maybe he deserved that 1st fight more then many think, and a showdown with Pavlik is inevitable..

However it plays out Miranda has lost to the top 2 Middleweights of the division and this is a total setback for him. Didn't he beat Allan Green? What Happened to that dude that would be an interesting rematch since both are going nowhere fast!

Can't vote for either. You need a third option. Miranda was a disappointment but AA is not the best MW because of this win, he would have to beat Pavlik.

I would like to think he meant out of the two, but this just goes to show what I was saying in the other thread, Miranda makes no excuses, he admits he lost to the better fighter. His fans, however...

Not sure I really understand this post.

I was rooting for Abraham in the fight. I like him and think he is far superior to Miranda. I like most of the continental European fighters especially. I am a big fan of Kessler, great fighter. Having said this, it would be wrong to say that Arthur is the top guy at MW. Pavlik earned that title and Abraham would need to beat him to take it away. Pure common sense.

Look, Miranda has always had his weaknesses....he's got great power, is an OK boxer, but his conditioning was never great and he's hittable anytime after the 5th (or, as it turned out last night, the 4th). Abraham is very good defensively, tough as hell, ****s like a big LH and seems to be in good shape, but he's a wild swinger with a fairly low work rate. I think Miranda was always a little overrated, but after Abraham's win last night, he's certainly more so. I'd give Abraham a decent shot at a KO win over Pavlik (probably 40%), but if he couldn't land (or did, and couldn't finish Pavlik), I think he'd be hurt late with Pavlik's body work and either lose a decision, or be TKO'd with a body shot. I'm not saying Abraham's conditioning isn't suspect, just that I don't know whether it is or not.

Miranda was never "supposed" to win.

The betting lines always had Abraham, as did all the pundits. Really only some uninformed fanboys thought Miranda would win

Neither and both. Abraham was just better than Miranda, as expected, but I would say that Abraham surpassed expectations and Miranda was a little disappointing, I wouldn't have predicted a fourth round KO.

Like most here have said, neither. Abraham will never be the best MW with those WILD SWINGS and Miranda well, is Miranda, enjoyable to watch and he sells fights with his smack talking but will never be elite...
