Pavlik has great power also, but for the one punch it's not even close.
I don't want to over estimate abraham, but he can punch. Pav has a style that is very difficult to fight against also. Both guys have the power to take the other out. Abraham probably has more 1 punch power, but pav is relentless. Abraham fans, please don't overrated him now. Miranda was once a good fighter, but he presents nothing close to the challenge Pav will give abraham.

Saying that, Pavlik has everything else on him.
      Definately one of them.

I honestly can't believe that this thread is even needed..

Pavlik is the more destructive puncher over the course of a fight, because his heavy hands wear you down fast, but Abraham absolutely destroys him for one punch KO power, it's not even remotely close.

Well considering Pavlik is considered to be a murderous puncher and before this fight Abraham was a relative unknown to most people I thought I the thread would shed some light on the respective difference between the two fighter's power.

Pavlik gradually wears his opponents down with a succession of hard shots, while Abraham has greater one-punch KO power.

exactly. One punch power is unquestionably in favor of Abraham.

Its his handspeed. Very quick, despite the fact that many of his shots are looping.

They also seem to come out of nowhere, he has that tight guard and then explodes catching opponents when their not prepared.

I think that Pavlik has such a high work rate that he conserves his energy during punches. But when Pavlik finds his distance and punches you that is when you get to see shots like Taylors where they are blow back. Abraham has more one punch power but it probably ain't much more then Pavlik if he Pavlik sat on his punches in a similar way. Pavliks punches hurt every time. His jab breaks down opponents and with the size differential I couldn't see AA getting his full punches he would most likely catch him at the end of punches when a lot of power is lost.

Lots of AA's KO's came late, AA carry's his power the entire way through the fight. It's one thing he's noted for.
