      Kessler by KO.

I just saw Pavlik vs Taylor yesterday and he did not impress me that much. He seems slow.

Pavlik should be able to move up to Smw pretty easily, I think he'd beat Kessler ; better puncher, Mikkel aint exactly got a Mayweather type defence, he's gonna eat them like Miranda did and thats not good for his chances. Pavlik TKO in about 6 or 7

Pavlik isn't heavier handed than Kessler, I think if anything Kessler has a slight edge here. The style matchup makes this fight impossible to call. Nobody is going to predict this with any accuracy unless it's sheer luck, and the question is unanswerable until they step into the ring....which is exactly why this fight needs to happen, ASAP.

            P.S.
Kilrain, have you even seen Kessler fight? The guy's great defensively, but like any fighter who throws alot, he'll catch a few. He also has faster hands than Pavlik, and very similar reach. If anyone gets TKO'd in their first fight (I think there'll be three, total, simply because each fight will be so close and either could win it at any second) it'll probably be Pavlik. He's been down a few times against MWs, and is very hittable. The kid's got heart, but Kessler is a great fighter and a good finisher. Just no way to predict the outcome of this one. Toss a coin.

I like Kessler over Pavlik cause Kessler is the bigger guy, but that doesn't mean Calzaghe can duck Pavlik.

You overrate Pavlik IMO. Kessler is faster, more talented, more tactically aware. I think he would outbox Pavlik comfortably. It would look like any number of Kessler's recent fights, from Mundine right through to Sartison, with Kessler, without doing anything particularly spectacular just boxing better and winning a clear decision.

I thought he looked bad for the first couple of rounds against Sartisan and a heavier hitting opponent would have had Kessler down in the 1st. Looked much better as the fight went on. Looked to me like the Calzaghe fight dented his confidence at the start but he regained it during the fight.
