In a grudge match at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, Amir Khan (18-0, 14KOs) stopped veteran Michael Gomez (35-9, 24KOs) in five-rounds to retain the Commonwealth lightweight title. A lot of heat for the fight as Gomez was being trained during camp by Oliver Harrison, the former trainer of Khan. Khan was trained for the fight by camp member Dean Powell. Dude has some skills but ya gotta be worried about his chin...With less than 20 fights and under the age of 22 what's the rush with this kid? He needs more seasoning if he steps up soon he might get ruined like a Vargas or Reid take some time with this kid he needs more seasoning. -
Well documented Gomez was lying saying he had Harrison training him, even on this site, so why would this article say otherwise??????????
