Michael Gomez is a TESt for khan

Michael Gomez is a test for khan how is this guy a spoon fed opponant? the guy is 31 so what? hes had 43 fights and had a few titles.
the IBF Inter-Continental featherweight title; and the British, WBO Inter-Continental, WBA Inter-Continental and WBU super featherweight titles. He was the first Irish boxer to win the Lonsdale Belt outright.
So why are people riding khans nuts about choosing to fight this guy? hes had way more expierance in the top stage and the lower stage so give khan a break i hope he wins.

He's shot. He's a superfeatherweight. He is not a 'huge test', or at least he should not be..

I think Kahn's getting backlash for this because Gomez lost to Carl Johannason last time out within 5 or 6 rounds, and most people would consider Kahn above Carl's level...

I don't see it going past 3 myself, 4 perhaps...

He has had one fight since then. He won a 6 round decision over someone with a less than impressive record. I can't remember his name or record other than it wasn't that good.

Just thought i would throw that out there for anyone that didn't know

Although, Gomez is clearly at the send of his career and was stopped by Johanneson a couple of fights back.....Not really a great oppenent to be honest. He is a alright fighter, but way too small for Khan IMO.

In his prime Michael Gomez was a dangerous fighter, but his prime was about 5 years ago. Now he is shot and to be honest the fight is a complete joke; he is a typical Warren opponent for a prospect. I can't see this fight lasting too long, maybe reaching round 4. I just hope Khan pushes on after this fighter because I am finding it hard to stick up for him lately.

alrite i agree with that. It may be a lil bit of a joke but hes stil got more expierance then khan even if hes a shot fighter.
