Thanks for checking this out, right I want too get into boxing I'm 23 years old at present and starting to get back into shape. Back in my prime days at boarding school when I was going to the gym daily my weight was and still is 75KG (which makes me a middleweight). I could bench press 110kg and used to spar with and child hood friend who won gold at the south pacific games (we weren't trained, conditioned, toned, experienced whatever you want too call it, this was when we were 16 and had no real ambitions of boxing) I do believe without any biased at all I have extremely quick reflexes and am quick at thinking on the spot also I'm down on what diet I should be eating (High protein for leaness, complex carbs for muscle development) which I started today. Been running the last couple of days doing stomach crunches and press ups and will be buying a boxing bag later on this week too practice. I'm also a commercial and editorial model signed with the biggest Australian Agency (Have posted my polaroids and different shots so you can get an idea of my potential) I put down most of my natural strength and tonedness down to growing up in Fiji and doing laborous jobs and eating local food (taro, yams, lean beef, and greenest vegetables you've ever seen!) What sort of specific training should I be doing? What muscle groups? from what I've read endurance and explosive reactive development but any tips from you guys? Where I'm at the moment had a boxing club which I went and saw today but they've since closed down, doesn't matter though I'll be in Sydney in a few weeks so I'll get pro advice there. Any advice you could give me in the meantime would be greatly appreciated, atleast I can work on my **** before showing up too a club and signing up.
