Miami-based 25-year old Flyweight Carlos Tamara (18-4, 13 KO) of Colombia bounced back from a loss in his last bout, a shot at WBO Flyweight titlist Omar Narvaez, by defeating 21-year old Juan Esquer (23-4-1, 18 KO) of Mexico on Friday night at the Miccosukee Resort & Gaming in Miami, Florida. It was Esquer’s second loss in his last three starts having also dropped a decision to current World 108 lb. champion Ivan Calderon in a competitive fight in December 2007. [details]
