Yet again, Floyd relies heavily on words to create and manipulate his surroundings. He has the classic sociopath ways. He is hoping that YOU his last 2 fans: Boof and DIOS the Dominican Cabbie, buy into tis BS. With ALL the $$ to have been made, if Floyd truly believed this... He would have fought Cotto prior to retiring.

His actions betray his little-kid speeches. Let me guess, did he throw a few hundreds into the crowd after this speech too?

I say: Cotto breaks his arms and then his jaw. TKO by flying white towel and a cracked up Uncle Jumping over the ropes and screaming "Aye Yo yo yo!!!!"

Let me get this straight: Floyd left $30 million on the table by not fighting Oscar because he didn't want to fight Miguel Cotto.

OK. Got it. Makes perfect sense.
Because there's no way that he could have retired AFTER making the $30 million off Oscar. Right?

In fact, Floyd broke down in tears and started talking retirement after the Baldomir fight based on how scary Cotto was in beating Oktay Urkal.

Dios, don't try so hard to understand the way a psychological coward thinks. To normal people it makes no sense. Floyd knew that by Cotto getting through Margarito... and Floyd beating PPV sparring partner DLH... the obvious Cotto VS Floyd machine would be in full swing. Leaving then would have been to obvious. I think Floyd is hoping to make more than $30 million by acting like Donald Trump and trying to sell records????

So in his mind, he is not leaving 30 million on table.. he is planning on making 40 million by selling records???? And thus preserve his laughable 0 losses. Floyd has it all planned out ;-)

Damn, these FLoyd fans take sack-sucking to a whole other level.

Yep. Which is why he has been talking retirement for two years. It was all a massive, intricate conspiracy centered around ducking Miguel Cotto. Well played, Floyd. Well played, indeed.

Because, as we all know.... NOBODY was suggesting Mayweather/Cotto after Migs beat Shane and Floyd beat Ricky within a one-month period.

Damn, Floyd called out Cotto and COTTO TURNED IT DOWN. Oh how you Cotto nut huggers forget so fast. There is nothing that Cotto has that Floyd has not seen. They have tried to box, and he beat them. They have tried to pressure and he beat them. Floyd Tko's Cotto in round 8. It will be a mix of Baldomir when Cotto pressures and Gatti when Cotto tries to box.

this video is old, this was when he was trying to make a run at 140, his run there was pretty short because

                  1. Tszyu was very inactive and him being on showtime didint help at all, once he lost to ricky hatton, we never saw him again anyway.

                  2. Ricky Hatton would win the ring championship but admitted he wasnt ready to fight floyd

                  3. Shane Mosley had no real intention of facing floyd mayweather until the de la hoya fight, which was already in effect and signed anyway

floyds run at 140 was a really bad situation because the only viable contenders, cotto, tszyu, hatton, gatti, would run into situations that made it difficult for him to get in the ring with him. The gatti fight barely came off, and look at how you all view that fight, when at the time, people anticipated it because we all thought it would lead to fights with tszyu or hatton. Cotto was never in the mix, top rank matchmakers know better than that.

You would benefit from a wider scope... OK, he has talked of retirement for 2 years... Cotto has been on the scene for at least 5 years. The implication that Floyd was talkin retirement 2 years ago is insufficient. He has been well aware of miguel since the days of "Cotto is too green.."

Yes but none as insecure as Floyd about his victory over Miguel.

Sell those records floyd! Cause your record is played.
