RJJ dominates Hagler. Roy has too much of everything.

How so? Hagler was never dropped and on top of that he held his title for quite some time. Jones never fought a fighter of Haglers KO power either

lol It would have took nothing short of a court order to get Jones anywhere near Hagler.
            Hagler by UD.

I love Hagler man...a true ****ing warrior but Roy is on another level....

Hagler had some pop..but in his prime Roy was barely nicked let alone hit flush.

Roy wins this one in a master class...maybe 8 rounds to four.

                Tough one.

Jones was a little green at 160 and still improving. In his favor, he's naturally bigger than the same day weigh-in era Hagler. He's also ridiculously gifted.

Jones got more experience against southpaws as time went on, but always had two of the main weapons against lefties: straight right hand and left hooks. I think the straight right got more polished as time went on.

One thing is Hagler's game plan. I think he'd be better off to abandon his usual patient counterpunching style and throw caution to the wind, like he did versus Hearns.

I'm back and forth on this one.

hagler is the greater middleweight, but head to head jones is just a horrible style match up for him. i too think roy at 160 dominates to a UD. despite marvin's great boxing credentials, he was surprisingly not very effective at cutting off the ring. and let's not underrate jones' chin at 160 either.

I do see Jones giving trouble to Hagler but if he were to come in with the determination like he did with hearns it will be a bad night for Jones
