Five Young American Heavyweights In Action

Eddie Chambers age 26 vs. Raphael Butler age 24

Raphael Butler was the guy who was supposed to have knocked down Vitali in sparring, remember?

Alonzo Butler age 28 vs. Friday Ahunyana

Chazz Witherspoon age 26 vs. Chris Arreola age 27

Good weekend for young American heavyweights! These are important fights in determining who will be contenders and who will not in the next few years.

No. the TV company said they didn't want to undermine the shows credibility by using boxers with zero talent.

Why can't the US produce a single top heavyweight?

With a population of 300,000,000 there's about 150,000,000 men. There should be at least 1,000,000 big athletic young men. Even after the football and basketball teams take some of them, that leaves over 999,000.

Shouldn't there be at least one talented heavyweight boxer in the US?
