    Cotto vs Baily

I was just thinking about this fight. This is a step down for Cotto. Baily losses to anyone who pressures him. Baily's only chance is to KO Cotto, Baily has a 100% KO ratio....but its not going to happen.

    Cotto win: KO 1-2nd round!

No way it ends in 2 rounds. Bailey is a pressure fighter and that is the style that suits the counterpunching Cotto. The fight will go 6-8, IMHO, not 2. Cotto has been starting quicker now but not that quick.

Have your seen Baily fight....he is real chinny, the reason I think its going to be quick.

Its funny how diferent people view fighters. I think of Cotto being the pressure fighter and Baily as a counter and clinch type fighter. Completely backwards. Not saying Cotto dosen't counterpunch...he does, but I have seen most of his fights won on the basis of the constant pressure he applies. Therefore I feel he is more a pressure fighter. Baily looks for the counter so he can apply his heavy right hand. He fighte very cautiously, which is why I wouldn't describe him as a pressure fighter. Watch the Corely/Baily fight if you have access to it, he dosen't throw unless he is sure to land.

Cotto always starts out as an easy-going counterpuncher and then he adds pressure as he feels necessary (i.e. if the other fighter is hurt). He fought like this against N'Dou, Sosa, and Pinto. The N'Dou fight, since it went the distance, showed him going back and forth between the styles. Cotto is a natural counterpuncher, tho.

That's the way I see it too.
