Classless Khan

Yes it is. I have never really like Khan much, but this makes me want Gomez to stop him and break his ego.
I think he needs an ego check, he loves himself a bit too much and then to blame his flaws on Harrison is a complete joke!

Well there was a justifiable cause to fire Harrison. What happened is that Harrison fell out with the rest of Khan's team, he didn't answer or return any calls for a number of weeks which made things very difficult for the team as a whole. It reached a stage where they had to communicate through one of Harrison's mates because Harrison refused to accept any calls. I'm not sure why he did that but I suspect it had something to do with his disappointment at the wage he was offered for the following years training.Tell me this though right. You work with this kid for years, make him what he is. Then suddenly he fires you for no reason. Meaning you ain't makin as much money. You would be angry?
Well, he needs to get money. Gomez says work with me. Why would he turn that down? Out of loyality to Khan, after the loyality Khan showed?
Khan is in the wrong if anyone is and anyone that disagrees can lick my forehead penis.
Khan had no choice but to fire him otherwise he would have jeopordized his own career trying to juggle the drama between Harrison and the rest of the team. It was a **** way to be sacked, by letter, but they tried to arrange a meeting and Harrison was a no show. I reckon any other boxing team would have done the exact same thing in the same situation because Harrison was making things too awkward for everyone else.
Now don't get me wrong, I reckon Harrison is a good trainer and I was just as surprised as the next man when I heard about his sacking but when I found out about what really happened it was obvious that Khan didn't have a choice in the matter because Harrison literally stopped communicating with the whole team, it was almost as if he was asking for the boot which anyone would have got had they behaved the same way. If it was Buddy McGirt, Freddy Roach, Roger Mayweather, Emanuel Steward.. if they did the same thing, they would have been booted in the same way, no exceptions.Last edited by Gorguruga; 06-20-2008, 01:39 PM.Comment
