  • Classless Khan

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/7464444.stm

Khan has no class..some of the things he is saying about Harrison after all they had been through together is just ****ing horrible...Hes spitting his dummy out and showing that hes the little chav i ve always knew he was....i love the line "But we will see how good a coach he is on Saturday night when Michael Gomez gets knocked out." Like Gomez was ever going to cause a problem!!

i agree with you mate, Khan has showed his true colours now ... i think thats outrageous what he has said about Oliver Harrison who is one of the UK's most respected coaches/trainers. He can hardly be suprised that Harrison is striking back by giving tips and advice to Gomez. Khan has skills certainly but Harrison made him what he is today and to drop him like a stone is just piss poor (to drop Frank Warren i would have totally understood) Personally i now hope Gomez teaches him a lesson in humility just like he did to Alex Arthur.

Is it me or have you blatently ignored the fact that after two months from his split with Khan that Harrison is helping Gomez beat Khan?

agreed, i think harrison is the one who is lacking class....i agree khan lacked tact when the initial split happened but to go and help the fighter he is fightin is slightly disrespectful and khan was always gonna have a dig! but i think khan should beat gomez with no problems and needs to move onto better competition (someone not on the back of a loss), someone maybe in top10, top 20 at least

I m sure Harrison isnt going to be cornering Gomez (not sure though??) but why not give tips if hes been asked? he is trainer and thats he how he makes a living, he doesnt have anyone looking after his career like boxers (i.e. a promoter)....

come on guys. they are professionals ....
harrison is doing right, khan is doing right as well
harrison isn't obligated that every fighter he has trained
he can never train anyone who goes against him in future

good examples are pep corea with lionel butler

another one is oliver mccall ... steward
jumped ship to lewis .. ok you could say
that he never developed these fighters ....

anyway i like how khan is vowing to kayo
the guy, thats the right attitude ...
its a profession, they should all be pros
            harrison is justdoing his job
and khan has to do his job
if anything this will help khan
because it will make him correct his mistakes
            harrison knows all his weaknesses
so khan will have to make sure
he gets rid of these weaknesses ...
it can only be a good thing
for khan .... it will make him a better fighter
            actually ...

I want Gomez to knock Khan the **** out. Gomez used to be fave boxer. Khan is just overated, chinny and annoying.
Gomez is shot to **** so i dont hold out much hope. But Gomez was ALSO shot when ****y Alex Arthur overlooked him and got knocked out.

Harrison didn't do anything wrong. Khan fired him with no notice. Harrison still has to eat. I'm sure when Gomez people heard he got fired, they offered him the job. Why in the world wouldn't he accept it. He owen Khan nothing.

                    its you !!
my post mentions both the fact that Harrison was dropped by Khan and the fact he is now helping Gomez. I still think it stinks of disrespect from Khan and i really do hope he gets his comeuppance .... not that i think it will be against Gomez mind but he better be careful what he wishes for cos if he gets the winner of Pac and Diaz both are currently way too good for him.
