The war of words continued between Arthur Abraham and Edison Miranda after today's press conference. When asked what he would say to Miranda if they were face to face, Abraham stated, “My eyes say more than his words. I wouldn’t need to say anything. "This will be a very interesting fight for the fans. People will see me, the man who beats Miranda and will beat Kelly Pavlik down the road. I will beat Oscar De La Hoya. I want to fight him. I don’t want to do it for money. I will do it for free. His name means more to me then the money. His name is bigger than the money."

Miranda may not be able to KO him, but will probably TKO him. The first fight should have been a ref stoppage - TKO - win for Miranda.

Miranda should have retired after losing by UD to a man that fought 8-Round with a broken jaw losing all that blood.

To not realize that this was a 6 against one, the three judges, Abraham, the ref and the promoter at ringside against Miranda would be laughable. Abraham would have won a decision even without the point deductions. That is a disgrace.

If you argue that Miranda should have been disqualified, well, that's a much better argument than he was "bitched".

the headbut was obvious.. and at least 2 of the low blow deductions were warranted as well.

I don't care if the ref was incompetant, Abraham stuck with it and got the job done.

Even with that broken jaw, there were times in the later rounds that he rattled Miranda so you shouldn't deny his power and heart either.

i myself admitted that VIC was more of a brawler and didn't have sound true boxing skills...

that is not the case for Abraham, he has technique AND can brawl if needed.
