Duran rocked Iran Barkley in the first round. After being annihilated by hearns, and hearns being ko'd by barkley, duran summoned up his old pro skill to beat barkley and become the middleweight champ. If you ever want to compare duran-chavez, just check their resumes. there is nothing to compare. Duran won the middleweight title at age 30 goddamn 7 lol. Duran was a beast. Chavez got more done on the inside than Duran did. Duran was an effective infighter, but it took him a longer time to pile up damage there. When Chavez got on the inside, he went to work.

Duran vs Barkley is one of my favorite fights. they both looked incredibly good. Barkley actually had more skill than people give him credit for, he could shorten his punches well and had good variety. not a bad jab either.

and I think its possible that Chavez(the one who fought Rosario) couldve beaten a young Duran. Duran really was only unstoppable at Lightweight toward the end of his Lightweight career, before that he was a little too wild and open.
