      Pavlik was indeed lucky.

Lucky to be the more gifted fighter, who would beat the **** out of Miranda again.

Why do you keep calling him a skinhead? You're making yourself out to sound like a racist motha. He beat Taylor and Miranda fair and square. Give the man some respect.

Let' wait and see how he does with Abraham first, then start talking about a rematch with Pavlik

Miranda would do slightly better becuase i noticed that he now setting up his power shots and showing more boxing ability, but Pavlik will most likely always have his number. Miranda can not fight going backwards and Pavlik will always bring the heat and back him up and make him fight a fight that he is not use to fighting. Pavlik by late knockout or unanimous decision. In order to beat Pavlik, you have to give him lateral movement and show footspeed, trading with him will never work unless you are bigger than him, a harder puncher and with a better chin. I see fighters like Calzaghe and Dawson (at 168) being able to beat Pavlik.

I think it'd be a better, more competitive fight, but I think Pavlik would again in a rematch.

Exactly. I was saying this same thing earlier in the thread. Pavlik fought the perfect fight to beat Miranda.

I don't know if it's an excuse but I can believe it to a degree. It's not like Pavlik doesn't have to work his ass off to make the weight either though.

As soon as the fight started, you could see who was the more skillful fighter. Pavlik wins again IMO.

I would just like to see a rematch that way nobody can diminish the the win like so many did. Then Pavlik went on and KO'd Taylor and nobody could make any excuses. Oh... Wait... It was just a lucky punch, I forgot..
I can go with that. But fans are not going to accept excuses once you agree to a fight. I side with the fighter though. Maybe miranda did struggle to make weight, but on the other end, it takes credit away from the other fighter. And that is why i can't fully accept weight as an excuse.

I know. The bottom line is, Miranda had just as much time to prepare for the fight as Pavlik did. The fact that he couldn't make the weight in a healthy manor is his problem. I seem to remember some blame being passed on to his trainer though. I can't remember all of the details.
