Just because your video was in German, it doesn't mean it was in Germany, come on guys. It was in Spain, with Spanish ref. There were a couple of gems in that fight though:
1. The ref kept talking to both fighters in Spanish. Maybe he thought he was breaking up the fight at Taco Bell but somebody should have warned him that neither fighter spoke a word in Spanish.
2. Even though he was supposedly playing by the rules, the rest of the world (and that includes 3rd world countries) does not count being supported by the ropes a knock down. As one writer said in the article, it almost looked like the ref just learned to count to ten that day and wanted to share his newfound knowledge with the world.
3. That low blow, which the ref counted as a KD and deducted 2 points for, was absolutely brilliant. He should do a ref master class on how to screw both fighters at the same time.
I swear, that ref was paid from both sides.Comment
