I find myself watching on average 3-4 fights a night and i score each one round by round, with and explain why a fighter won that particualr round or things to watch out for. Things like say a cut thats formed or if a fighter has got away from certain things such as a jab and it would be something to watch for. My girl is getting to the point where she dont even wanna be in the same room as me at night because i just go on my computer, throw on my headphones and watch my boxing for about 2-3 hrs every single night. When I have my lunch break at work, im in the corner, whatching my fights with my notebook. I have scored about 45-60 fights in the last 20 or so days. This is the greatest sport ever and in my eyes Im absolutely obssessed with the sport. I have 4 career sets on DVD, RJJR, Sugar Ray Leonard, Evander Holyfield...( which is a great set to get if you like scoring fights becuase many of his fights were good to watch and very close, and Im currently waiting for Diego Corrales's to come in the mail. I would like to post some of my fights later tonight and see what you guys think about some of the decisions ive scored, and get your opinions on how I did. Let me know what you guys think, I love criticism about scoring because to me anyone can watch a fight, but scoring a fight is almost an art form. Anyone else find themselves doing the same thing as me and let me know if you guys want me to post some of my scorecards.....Thanks!!
Anyone else as obssessed with boxing as I am?!?!?!

It's really smart of you to score every fight and keep a record of it. You will be a go to guy whose opinion will count when controversial fights are discussed. Good work doing that. I try to do a 12 rounder every night, but I have been bad this week and only scored Rahman-Tua I and Tua-Ibeabuchi.Comment

You should not neglect your girl though. If she watches the live fights with you that's good, but if she's a real keeper, don't choose to go watch a fight rather than doing something with her. Score fights around her. I get next to no sleep at night, but I satisfy everybody. This response belongs in the lounge.Comment

I usually watch a fight live, dont really pay attention to scoring it, either tape the fight and go back to watching the fight without commentary. At times its very easy to get persuaded to a certain fighter throughout the fight due to bad commentary....although some judges have there head in there asses without listening to such bull****. Perfect case Casamayor v Corrales 2......explain to me how Corrales won on 2 cards by a score of 115-112...I love Chico, but i believe I had Casamayor winning 117-111 or 116-111....Comment

Last time I scored it, I had Corrales winning 8 or 9 rounds. I thought it was pretty clear. I have been meaning to score that whole trilogy again though because I believe I had the second fight 116-111 and the third fight 114-113. I am admittedly a big Corrales fan, but I don't let my bias get in the way. I will score them again this week or next.Comment
