He looked terrible against Chambers and only really won because Eddie wouldn't throw punches

      That could definitely happen.

how do you guys think Haye would get on against him? (obviously once Haye is acclimatised as a Heavyweight and not right now)

A Haye fight would be interesting, I'd pick Povetkin right now because he has fought at heavyweight his whole career and is used to the weight but I could change my mind if Haye impresses me in his first couple of fights at heavyweight.

He's already a clear top 10 in the world, but if he learns how to defend himself in the ring, he can be the best.

He's a good fighter but did not impress me yet. He should try the contenders first. Maybe Haye vs Povetkin?

Did you see how many shots he took from chambers? Povetkins face was ****ing bright pink and blue. That is a recipe for failure against someone like Wlad.

He needs to tighten up his defense and body.

I like his high work-rate, which is something you don’t see that often in the Heavyweight division. Also he hasn’t had many fights but frankly even looking at his limited resume I have seen boxers get title shots with much less credentials. He seems to be a little loose on defense (although to be fair Chambers is a pretty accurate puncher, but then again so is Wlad and he has a lot more power than Chambers does).

Can he beat Wlad? I guess you can never say never but frankly I can’t see anyone beating Wlad right now.

I don't know what you guys see in Povetkin. Yes, he he has a high workrate. However, he came in fat in his last 4 fights. He really has to lose some fat and gain some muscle. His power is average at best. His handspeed looked bad compared to Byrd and Chambers. His defense was poor in his last fights, Byrd and Chambers landed every time they threw a punch. If Povetkin doesn't work on his lateral movement, footwork, defense, and conditioning, he will lose to Wlad and will never get back on top.

As it is now, I think Haye would KO him within 6, Ibragimov and Chagaev would win a very wide UD, and Valuev would wipe his ass with what's left of Povetkin.
