    Mayweather vs Zaghe (hand issues)

Some posters here claim that nowadays Floyd only fights in spurts cause he hurt his hands and others claim that Zaghe's doesn't sit anymore on his punches for the same damn reason. That's some cow**** to be honest with you.

Zaghe is more effective when he slaps and floyd is less hitable when he doesn't throw.

        I agree 100%.

Winky Wright punches WAY weaker than when he did when he was younger, but pretty much everyone would say he is less hittable and overall a better fighter now(or later in his career). same thing with Mayweather and Calzaghe

        you make a great point

This is NOT a great point. Floyd and Joe look great with brittle hands because they developed new ways to win taking into account these complications. They adapted their styles to compensate for their lack of hand strength and are still undefeated. This makes them great fighters, and those who have posted in this thread have it the other way around, the injuries have not made them better, they've made themselves better by learning to deal with them.

I do think Floyd is a little gunshy because of his hand injury.

joes brittle hands has his opponents on the ropes, so he clearly learned a new way to throw punches that hurt not ko punches but ones that make his opponents retreat to the ropes at times in the fight.
