Hatton's status?

If he fights Manny and wins like he should given the huge weight difference, does he deserve to be back in the 10 P4P list for dethroning the P4P king?


I say no b/c its a bull**** win but at the least let him maybe crack the bottom at number 10 or 9.

Definitely deserves to be back up if there if he does beat Manny. That's reasonable enough.

However, let's cross that bridge when we come to it, Malignaggi will pose him more problems in my opinion, and that aint is no dead cert.

i really haven't been impressed by him in any of his last 4-5 wins . . . maybe he deserves to be there but it would mean taking out more deserving boxers imo.

This largely depends on how the fighter he beats performs. The JLC 4 round KO got hatton no respect at all despite a few people thinking that it would be a good competitive fight! should Pac look good in beating diaz and whomever in between i see no reason why It wouldn't be considered a great win.

hatton is a top 10 p4p fighter anyway - this is a guy that gave the p4p 1 one of his hardest fights and this was with a ridiclous ref as well!

im not saying hes in the top 5 but hes definently already in top 10. if he beats paulie malignaggi then he comes close to coming in the top 5 but not quite and if pacman is competitive against hatton and hatton beats him then he has a good shout of being in the top 5.

i can see hatton beating both malignaggi and pac man btw.

I don't see what the difference would be between hatton beating pacquiao and hopkins beating De La Hoya/Trinidad. Hopkins gets a ton of credit for these wins.
