Lets not forget, many of the names on Holyfield's resume he lost to, others such as Tyson were definitely well past their best.

Roy Jones Jr has more wins over good fighters in their prime than any active fighter.

      No he doesn't.

      Jones wins:
      James Toney
      Bernard Hopkins
      John Ruiz
      Clinton Woods
      Glen Kelly
      Julio Cesar Gonzalez
      Richard Hall
      Montell Griffin
      Virgil Hill
      Mike McCallum

      Holyfield wins:
      Hasim Rahman
      John Ruiz
      Lennox Lewis
      Michael Moorer
      Mike Tyson
      Rid**** Bowe
      Ray Mercer
      Larry Holmes
      Bert Cooper
      George Foreman
      James Buster Douglas
      Dwight Muhammad Qawi

I mean, there are a lot of hall of famers here. Most all of Holyfields losses come after his prime as well, that shouldn't be ignored.

holyfield takes it all the way for me, that is of course besides Tye Fields

but just for the fun of it, (and i got nothing against roy jones) but i can take 2 of his best name wins and make a case for them

his first fight with bernard, neither of the fighters had reached their full potential yet, they were basically in the learning stages. bernard was nowhere the complete fighter that he became years later. he still had the old brawling Philadelphia style. with bernard's inexperience charging roy like that was not gonna win it for him.

his fight with toney everyone knows what happened there. Toney's weight issues were well documented before the fight, and he's still paying the price for his eating habitts.

Holyfield has a very good resume, but not better than Jones. Some of those biggest wins for Holyfield were over fighters past their best, Jones biggest were mostly over prime fighters.

-Holyfield doesn't have a win over Lewis, in fact he lost to him twice, although Lewis was robbed in the first fight and given a draw.

-Holyfield also has looses on his resume to Bowe and Ruiz, along with the wins

-Cooper and Douglas, who had only one good career win on a night when Tyson was distracted, were nothing special

-Foreman was in his 40s, back in the early 70s he would have destroyed Evander

-Tyson was past his best, if they'd fought in 1988 or 1989, Tyson would have won by KO

-Holmes was far past his prime when he fought Holyfield

Roy Jones Jr has wins over prime Toney, prime Hill, and a young Hopkins. He never lost a fight for 15 years - that's very amazing - those wins add up to a great resume. His opponents were not hand-picked past-prime opponents. And Jones' win over Ruiz is much better than Holyfield's, because he was moving up from a much lighter weight. While Holyfield went from cruiser, he grew into heavyweight and it was his natural weight by the 1990s. But Jones is naturally much smaller (middleweight to light heavyweight) and was never close to being a natural heavyweight.

You left names off of RJJ's resume. De La Hoya Has some big name wins but Hopkins resume isn't as solid as Jone's and neither is DLH.

Oscar's leading the poll? LOL! Yes he fought a bunch of hofamers but he didn't win all of them. He lost to B-Hop, Tito, Sugar Shane and had controversial wins against Bazook and Sweet Pea.

Before I say anything else that was a complete **** up on my part. I thought I typed (Draw) next to the name.
