Reed, why was it not a legit stoppage when the guy's face was hanging off?

Anyway, at the time I thought that The Fat Jamoc got lucky. But in retrospect it was probably Vitali, who had an improved rep he wouldn't have got by being KO'd. Which, I guess he probably would have been. Maybe. Sort of. I don't know.

Anyway, check the difference between these two outcomes and post-bout interviews:

    Vitali gets withdrawn against Lewis:

"I see uh...... verrrrrrrrrry well. Lennucks Loo iz... he no hav gud condishun, uh..... u no? I throw zee rrrr right, u no? Why zee Doctor stop fight? I I no understan." (Gets back into the ring almost immediately to fight Sanders)

Vitali's entire body suffers reverberations through the result of Danny Williams's titanium chin:

"Irunnn chin... right hand hurtzzzzzzzz." (Vitali's body breaks down for the start of a four year TKO)

the stoppage was legit... i just have a tough time calling it a TKO when vitali was actually in charge of the fight...

even though.. it is in fact a TKO... its just hard to call it one...

It was a wakeup call for Lewis to retire. No one can say he had more in him. Lewis got lucky that night but i deserved to get lucky imo because he's such a great champion and really the last big one on my book. He is respected and talked about much because he didn't sell himself and let boxing retire him. Maybe in the long run it can make you more money? Hardly, but it will make you more respected. Specially if you show that much guts in your last fight, fighting the next HW champion. That would be the equivalent of an 38 year old Wladimir fighting lets say, Solis or Haye (who are young and hungry). It's not gonna happen.

Lewis had the better last round. Watch it after the murderous uppercut around the 2 minute mark of the round. Lewis was tired, but hit Vitali with 3 clean hard punches afterwards. Around 15 seconds left and Vitali is holding on to Lewis. Lewis just throws whatever he has left in him in THAT ROUND, thus winning the round. He was tired, but Klitschko was more tired, hurt, and his face was falling off.
          Legit win.

All the people moaning about the fight actually shadows the fact it was a exciting fight. I would of liked them to have a rematch. too late now.

Lewis would probably lose a rematch BECAUSE he was too old, not like those two are even comparable prime for prime. They aren't in my opinion. A rematch would vitali only, not lewis, not boxing as a sport.

vitali was cheated in fight. whether it was headbutt or laces on gloves vitali was not cut fairly. it was intentional.

lewis was going to be ko`d soon

All I gata say is... Technical Knockout My ASSSSSS
No Doubt that Vitali was still strong when the fight was stopped. He had won almost all of the fight to that point. He would have came out and ended Lewis. And for those who said: Lewis was not prepared. What makes you think that Klitschko was? They both were thrown into the fight at short notice.

Classic line at the end of the fight when Lennox said "Look at the state of his face." It really was that damn bad but as much as I like Lennox he was out of shape and would have lost that fight if it would have continued...If Vitali eye didn't fall out of his face first. The way lennox looked coming in all flabby and **** I guess he didn't take him seriously...it had to be cuz Lennox always came in tip top shape...****, the fool had love handles.
