Povetkin: Is he the next Abdul Muhaymin?

We all know Povetkin is stepping up real quick, but will he be able to achieve the fame and greatness of Abdul Muhaymin or is he another fighter who has been a hype job and is a result of poor management which might ruin his career early by putting him against Wladimir.

Who the hell is Abdul Muhaymin??

I'm a big fan of Povetkin, he's a very good fighter, has an aggressive crowd pleasing style and he has a great workrate for a heavyweight....He had a legendary amatuer career and won olympic gold medal.

I think his management are making a mistake throwing him in against Wladimir with only 15 pro fights under his belt, he's not ready yet, I can't see him beating Wlad...With that being, he should be able to recover from the loss to Wlad and have a successful career.

I don't really like Povetikin all that much from what i've seen. The Povetkin-Chambers fight was boring and fought at a very slow pace (even at Heavyweight standards)

I've only seen that one fight though so he can still impress, I haven't made a total judgement of the guy.

              I see your point..

Povetkin has real promise but fighters of the calibre of Muhaymin are truly one in a generation.. Greatness is like a Comet. It shines brightly but doesnt come by very often...Povetkins people (and fans like you) should set their sights a little lower..

I know it is a great expectation, and I am a skeptic to say the least.

I hate Povetkin, he beat up my boy Eddie Chambers.

I think he will get KO'd by Klitschko.

Eddie Chambers lacked an offense. He couldve beat Povetkin if he threw any bunches of punches.
