well if amato and jacobs had lived longer then mike would have been a more disciplined fighter and continued his growth as a boxer. He wouldnt be the reckless head hunter he was in the late 90s but he would have had more mental stability in his life. No robin givens, no don king etc....just The 80s mike with the constant bob n weave wait for an opening and quickly destroy his opponents.

I dont think he would have gone to the pen either for ****.

What i see happening is him destroying buster douglas, then holyfield, lewis bowe, moorer and foreman all during that 92-95 period he went to jail

Lewis was **** as far as technique and didnt become great til emanuel stewart clean up his technique in the mid to late 90s.

Holyfield beat a rusty undiscipline mike tyson but a focus cus trained mike steamrolls him

Cus was the greatest trainer ever and he new the boxing game better than anyone. Ali came to him before his showdown with foreman and Cus gave him the blue print to beat foreman. Also several legendary fighters came to cus and cus game them blueprints to win fights.

He even predicted Frazier over ali. They were doing a special and ali was showing what he would do to frazier as cus acted out frazier. As soon as ali said he would come in and throw an uppercut cus came with a hook on ali and ali just said "well you can do that because you are genius at the sport". GO rewatch ali frazier and joe throws the same hook to drop frazier as soon as ali drops his hands to throw an uppercut.

Tysons only problem was he was very undiscipline in life and in the ring. He is/was as smart of a fighter as anyone ever(And i dare someone to argue). He had every physical tool and had the fire to be the greatest. The lack of guidance cause his downfall and if cus was there mike wouldnt have allowed the snakes that ruined him in his life and he would have had some type of stability from someone he looked up too.

That is the Tyson enigma. He possessed the talent, the gifts of legendary proportions, IF directed with discipline. But which without discipline could be overcome by those of lesser talents but with discipline.

It's what we teach our children, to always try, because someone who tries harder, even with less talent can win.

I don't think it would have changed anything, except he may have beaten ****ty ass buster douglass. I just don't buy the tyson excuses, he is an entertaining fighter but highly overrated.

He would have been the greatest ever. Once D'amato died it was all downhill for Tyson
