COTTO: P4P King on JULY 27th???

If Cotto beats Margarito impressively, i think you can make an extremely strong case, and i think a lot of boxing pundits would agree, that Cotto should pass Pacquiao and become p4p #1 in the world.

I mean, an impressive win over Marg is better then a very controversial win over Marquez that many, including myself, thought he lost.

Cotto as P4P number 1, would be tremendous for the sport. Cotto fights on all the best fighters in the world and all comers. He probably wont be up there for very long, cause he'll run itno somebody that can beat him, but it will be one of the most memorable runs as p4p #1 ever IMO.

If i could pick ANY fighter to be the embassador for our sport, it would be a guy like Cotto, or Williams, or Pavlik, or Haye, or Mijares. guys that wanna fight the best ASAP. Pavlik lets his promoter get the way to much, but the other guys go for the best no matter what

      Maybe, maybe.

I think Cotto will become the #1 P4P fighter in the world soon. If not on the 27th, not long afterwards.

I don't think so. if he beats marg and williams, than no doubt yes. a win on the 27th should make him 2nd after pacman.

Depends how dominant Pac is over Diaz. If Pac goes in there and mops the Floor with a lightweight champion, well thats pretty impressive.

I'm not sure about #1...I'm content with the top three for now...

How do you rate Paul Williams in the P4P List?

He is not top 3 right now, and Marg is not on the p4p list.
                    So no.
