work the left hook to the body...

margarito is pretty tall from the waist up which gives cotto plenty of room to work.

I do think cotto's goal is to outbox margarito and and i think its the right choice...margarito (especially in his last fight against cintron) goes in without the use of a jab (or his hands up for that matter) and goes back outside without a jab (or his hands up) which could play right into cotto's hand...

catch margarito coming and and nail him again as he's getting out.

if cotto can do that the whole fight he can win a pretty clear decision...

if not then he's going to have to keep his hands up and work the body of margarito whenever possible. breaking margarito's chin isnt likely at all...his best chance is the body...

it will be a close fight though...and no matter who wins dont be surprised if there is a rematch.

I don't think Cotto is the type that plan things just like Floyd. Cotto has so many ways to attack you. Cotto will keep on adjusting for any possible advantage he has over Margarito.

Whats Margarito going to do when he keeps eating jabs? keep going forward?..all Cotto has to do is step back and turn then attack, repeat.. not to mention Cotto's jabs are quick & punishing..

The jab of Miguel Cotto is punishing. Who was it that he started to swell there **** just from an accumulation of jabs. Might have been Gomez actually. LOL.

Cotto has never had to adapt against a good prime opponent. King, I think this is his first true test, and we will find out if he has a plan B.

Not all have a plan a, b, c, d...there are some fighters that plan ways to utilize their skill & talent, that I agree. There are those that rely on raw talent and those that adapt to their opponent's level... or a little bit of both..

I can go with that, but all fighters have a plan. In life you have a plan. Plans, B,C,D are plans you never want to go to. lol Buyt you are right, sometimes you just have to adapt without a plan. Sugar leonard was forced into a brawl in his first fight with roberto duran. He didn't utilize plan B until late in the fight. Sometimes it just doesn't happen even when you want it to because of your opponent.
