Has Winky ever been in a "Must See" fight?

I dont think there was ever a time when Winky was talked about being in a "must see" fight. In the 80's, Duran/Leonard was a must see. Frazier/Ali was a must see. Floyd/Cotto is a must see. For some reason, i can really give 2 ****s if i ever see another Winky fight ever again. I dont know what is it about the guy, but i cant stand watching him. I think its because all of his fights are pretty predictable. He covers up in his shell, then fires away with jab after jab. Once in a while he'll make an attempt to throw a power punch that looks as if wouldnt hurt my 14yr old sister. His fans will argue that he's exciting because he throws alot of punches. Ok, what good are they, if they have nothing on them? Its like watching touch football rather than full contact tackle football. Anyone else feel the same way?

It turned out to be a fight that Wright dominated, but was it considered a "must see" prior to the actual fight?

Not for me, I guess it depends if you like his style. Much like Bernard, some people love his fights...I'd say that If it wasn't for Trinidad neither of them would have been in the exposure at all

It wasn't because of Winky. Prior to the fight everybody thought that Trinidad as going to massacre him just because of how little he was known

it actually was.. trinidad was supposed to be on a comeback trail

after pwning the hell out of ricardo mayorga for like 10 rds

and was supposed to be ready for a bernard hopkins rematch

ironicly, they both lose their tune up fights to better oppistion

thus causing the catastrophic contreversial wright-taylor

he has not been in any fight that any real boxing fan was excited about because he is such a boring fighter. i did enjoy the fight with taylor though but it was not a must see fight.
