    Roy Jones Jr. can never really "redeem" himself unless he beats Tarver or rematches

    Johnson and beats him. Beating Tito isnt gonna do it and fighting Oscar at 158 (which he said he was willing to do) isnt either. Hang em up Roy or avenge a loss...

                  I agree. He doesn't need to redeem anything. He has already done so much in boxing that even if he gets KO'd by Joe Calzaghe, he will still be headed for the HOF. There is no denying that.

                  Believe me, I would have loved it if he could have beat Tarver in the rubber match but I don't think any less of him because of his losses.

                    The only people who don't remember are the ones who started watching Roy maybe around the time he fought Clinton Woods. Anyone with a brain will remember the fact that he beat Tarver.
