i chose the 2nd although it is a tad extreme he does not i just dont think he is as good as made out. although he does suck as a colour commentator and is biased as **** (floyd hatin mutha****er)

Some fighters are the kind of fighters that needs a full time trainer. Fighters like Taylor, Lee, Cintron ect. Other fighters like Lewis and Klitschko can be told something one time and would understand it perfectly. Steward is a great trainer and really depends on who he is training. He has done a great job with Holyfield(in the second Bowe fight) Klitschko, Lewis and many other fighters. I think that the problem is that he has lately been training fighters that are use to fighting their old style and is just confused when he tries to break their bad habbit.

1) Taylor loses to Pavlik, because of bad advice from Steward.

2) Cintron gets destroyed the same exact way in his rematch against Margarito, as if steward didn't do nothing to help Cintron.

3) Andy Lee, what the crap was that? Andy Lee looked like ass, and I blame Steward


The only person Steward has done really good with lately is Wlad Klitschko, its like he doesn't really give a **** about the other fighters. That Cintron rematch with Margarito was ridiculous. Cintron fought exactly the same way as he did in the first fight, so dumb.

I think steward's heart has been broken by fighters too many times so now he just thinks of fighters as paychecks and doesn't put in the time and love to really develop another truly great fighter.

Another example, Tommy Hearns. He has had Hearns since the amatuers and that goes to show you that a full time trainer is better suited than a part time trainer. Hearns was brilliant and Steward is the best when it comes to devoloping his fighters best weapons, partically the left jab.

the sign of a good commentator is that they shud b partial.
he cant b a good commentator if he dislikes a fighter because that means he wont b delivering a fair and balanced view.
I thought that would b a simple concept for people to understand

He is a great trainer. He was the best at one point, but the age is catching up. Lately he has been average at best.
