Is Pavlik the 160lb version of George Foreman?

If you look at the way he fights very up tall. Is relatively slow but has very heavy hands and power in both left and right. He also can work a fight with his 1-2.

Was Jermaine Taylor his Frazier? Will Calz be his Ali?

If By 160lb You Mean Georges Left Leg Then Yes.

He fights tall but doesn't punch as wide or as powerfully as Foreman.

I don't think he has faced the kind of opponent that Ali had in Frazier just yet.

I can sort of see what you're on about - very straight punches that are slow but thrown with decent technique and a lot of power in most.

I don't think much of the second analogy though...

Personally I think is the reincarnation of Ray Robinson.

            Possibly.

Pavlik isn't as slow as you might think. I think his speed will be more apparent in his fights to come. I recall the first combo he hit lockett with in RD1, he has good hand speed but i think you can't see it as much because he doesn't have flashy foot work. Just my opinion.

                Foreman's punches were not straight.

Very smart of Ray to come back as a white guy.

I can understand the comparison, but Pavlik might be more technically sound.
