David Haye's trainer Adam Booth has told Setanta Sports News that the heavyweight contender only has eyes for a title challenge against Wladimir Klitschko.
Haye hinted last week that Samuel Peter could be an alternative option but Booth expects his man to see off his next two opponents to line up a massive pay-day against the 32-year-old Ukrainian.
"Both David and Wladimir have got two fights each," Booth informed Setanta Sports News.
"This is boxing and it's heavyweight boxing but both should win those four fights. The plan is, a year from now, Haye and Klitschko becomes the biggest fight in world boxing."
When asked why Haye does not pursue Peter, 'The Nigerian Nightmare', instead, Booth explained the London fighter's mindset.
"It's a shame you ask me that question," he replied. "A lot of fighters nowadays look for the line of least resistance.
"When David won the cruiserweight title, he wanted to go to Paris and fight the French champion in his backyard and knocked him out.
"He wanted to fight Enzo Maccarinelli on a Frank Warren show and he knocked him out.
"David doesn't look for the line of least resistance. He says what's the biggest challenge, what's the best route and will give me the most acclaim? Let's for it as quickly as possible.
"Klitschko knocked out Samuel Peter and is regarded as the man in the heavyweight division. Anyone else, as far as David is concerned, is second best."
Although Golden Boy Promotions have suggested Haye's next bout will be at The O2 Arena on November 29, this date has not been confirmed yet by the boxer's camp or Setanta Sports, who will screen the fight live.
