Eric Morales is not much older or younger than J MM but there is no question that one is still an Elite fighter at the top of his game whilst the other is a shadow of his former self

I didn't really feel the Johnson and Tarver fights proved anything except that Jones is unable to come back down to LH and keep his conditioning. I think it probably ruined him. Notice that his work rate was nearly nothing in the first Tarver fight (I felt like Tarver won that one too, though it was close enough that I didn't flip when they read the cards)? I think he'd have been OK at cruiser, but LH was just too far, too fast, and he's never going to be what he was.
