Like i said in the other threads, what was Ross Purity? he was a shoe for Wlad's homecoming. Wlad lost, life goes on.
Wlad's taken his losses in stride and here he is, after 53 professional fights, the recognized best HW in the world, bad chin and all. I actually like Haye, I just want to see him in with a HW with a pulse before I jump on the "he'll slaughter Wlad" bandwagon.

So did Haye, he unfired the division within 22 fights when everyone write him off after the Thompson loss, he wants to make the step up and fight the best the Heavyweight division has to offer. He ain't asking for it to be handed on the plate for him, he just wants to make his presence know.

I don't see the problem? Why can't Haye beat Wlad? No one knows, they either like him or hate on him.

There's no problem, but if Holyfield had to do his due (6 fights against increasing opposition) at HW before a title shot, I don't really see why Haye shouldn't.

And Holyfield cleaned out the CW division, Haye still left Cunningham at least, maybe Adamek.

I think Haye knows he ain't going to get Wlad within two fights, like i said, Haye is just trying to make some noise. This fight will be far bigger down the line especially if Haye could get one of the other belts.

In two years time, this fight will be huge IMO, providing Haye makes it that far?

In two years time, if Haye fights some top HWs in the meantime, the fight will be huge and good for boxing. And then, who knows, if Haye makes it that far, he def has a chance.

Ok I am American and the blatant disrespect for wladimir klitcho is crazy. You all do realize that he has knocked out 5 of his last 7 opponents. and it would have been six if Ibragamov came to fight. But because he isnt a brash talker and in the ring he likes to take his time and pick his opponent apart he's looked at as if he is soft. But get real the man is 6'6 250 and his body looks like its carved from stone. all of you know good and damn well you wouldn't want to see him on the other side of the ring. Cause everyone knows when lennox lewis had been working with emmanuel for awhile that no fighter was under any circumstance going to get in his punching distance without getting pounded with a jab. wladimir is the same way since he has bought into steward's system not one of his opponents have gotten close enough to do anything but get knocked out I haven't seen Haye demonstrate any skills that would lead me to believe he knows how to fight against a bigger stronger man with a much longer reach who sets EVERYTHING up with the jab

Carry on. Am enjoying this victory cigar.
uh,,,wlad had never been past the 6th round at that point and totally gassed himself by using purrity as a punching bag for 10 rounds. haye got stopped in the 5th. big difference

Yeah, I dont get where you guys are thinking its wrong that Wlad says he needs to prove himself before getting a shot at the title. Just because he was decent at cruiser means he can move up and immediately challenge the champion?
