    What era of boxing do you consider the best?
    For me i would have to say the 80's because of how much talent was there.

    How did the thread highjacked smiley apply there?

    I would say that this eras heavyweights are top notch. Providing us with all time classics like Klischko-Ibragimov and so on...

    But really i agree, the 80s were good.

        I wasn't old enough to see or remember the action from the 80's as good as it was but the early to mid 90's were the best for me, the Benn - Eubank - Watson fights were the best IMO.

          I will go with today, I used to have to buy the newspaper everyday to hopefully get a glimpse at results. It was almost impossible to get old fights, if you were lucky you could find out results from abroad.

          This is the best era, I have never before been able to see so many fights and fighters.

            This is a great point. On paper it was the 80's but in the terms you are talking about yeah, now is the best time to be a boxing fan.

                If I was older in the 80s I probably would say the 80's... 90's kind of ****** aside from RJ. I'm a fan of the 2000's, tons of great fights already.
