MMA will never apporach the art of boxing

I'm a fan of both but i will admit that boxing comes accross as more of a structured professional sport than MMA.
Somestimes MMA events (UFC WEC EXC ...) appear to be looking for shock value type of attention rather than a fight between skilled/diciplined opponents. -
I agree, but I don't really try to argue with people over MMA and Boxing anymore, because people who are BIG into MMA won't find the same love in Boxing as I do. Vice versa with me and MMA, I watch it, but not a lot and I'll NEVER have a passion for MMA as I do for boxing.Comment

Also, no offense to MMA fans. But when they start rolling around on the floor i turn off. If a girl walked in and saw me watchin some guys rolling round she woul be like...The ****!?
Actually thats a lie, no girl would walk in on me in the first place...Comment

we have a bunch of white trash rednecks who love unskilled fighters who roll around on the ground with the nuts in each others faces.
I would rather watch a bar fight, same action, same shape guys, less ground work...Comment

Two completely different sports that require different talent and preparation. MMA does not have and will never have the history that boxing has, and will never be as interesting in my eyes. Boxing requires more technique and training, while MMA can be learned by anyone whom is athletic.Comment

i find it too barbaric.
there`s just something about pounding an unconscious guys head into the ground that doesnt sit well with me.
take two bums off the street like kimbo (who used eat garbage)
put them in a cage, give it a fancy name
and you`ve got mmaComment
