A stationary boxer wit power like Taylor gave Pavlik trouble. A faster mover in Kessler wouldn't be as still for Pavlik's bombs, and would be able to land more combos. Ain't like Kelly couldn't win this one, but I give the edge to Mikkel.

I love how everyone who is a calzaghe fan automatically says kessler would beat the crap out of him. I must be the only calzaghe fan to admit that Pavlik has a better offense and defense then Kessler and would be the one to stop Kessler.

That might be because he really doesn't have a better offense or defense than Kessler. I think Kessler has a definite edge in technical ability and also in handspeed. Pavlik has the edge in conditioning, work-rate, and heart. I don't think Kessler is going to beat the crap out of Pavlik, either. This would be a candidate for fight of the year, certainly, maybe fight of the decade. It's a perfect crowd pleasing styles matchup, and it's the only thing I have on my wish-list this year.

By the way, Calzaghe would beat Pavlik by a comfortable decision, no question about it.
