I got Marquez by decision because I still think Casamayor is an old fighter, I also think it will be a pretty uneventful fight.

Sorry, but Katsidis/Corrales/Castillo all hit harder then Casamayor.

Anyway I got Marquez by spilt decision in a real close bout.

This fight has controversial decision written all over it, but could wind up where a draw is the fairest verdict.

I'm not sure how well Marquez handles 135. On paper, I'd pick him by decision, but Casa's better acclimated at the weight, whereas JMM only moved up 130 like 4 fights ago (not even two years at the weight).

I just hope one of them decides to go against the grain and lead rather than play counter puncher. Otherwise, it's going to be a long, boring night (and with a controversial decision to follow)

Casamayor at this age would not handle the body shots Marquez will land on him.

50/50. Casamayor really surprised me how good he looked against Katsidis. I really thought it was his retirement fight. Boy was I wrong. Even after going through the ropes, he got back up and stayed composed. Casamayor is slick, and will do a lot of hit and moving to avoid letting Marquez get off 3 or 4 shots on him. If his power is as good as it looked against Katsidis, he could put Marquez in trouble. Marquez's biggest weakness is his chin. When a match comes down to the wire, it's usually his chin that made the difference.
