I don't agree with it if that's the point. Pavlik can box and his defense has been fairly good. He gets hurt sure, but he has good fundamentals.

Pavlik just throws punches, does not load up on anything. He just concentrates on landing. The rest is just natural.

Pavlik doesn't just go into the ring looking for a knockout, if a knockout opportunity presents itself, he'll take it but he doesn't go wild in there looking for one.

He knows how to utilize his jab to set up his shots and has better defense than given credit for, he has decent footwork too.
