      1. To my knowledge, Hopkins never asked for one and I doubt Calzaghe would have given him one anyway.
      2. No, Hopkins' style would make anyone look bad.
      3. Hopkins lost a little respect from me when he tried to buy time in the 10th (?) round, it was a smart move but I didn't like it. Calzaghe gained a bit of respect from me because coming over the pond and beating a guy like Hopkins is not easy.

I think this can be answered with one response. Hopkins showed in that fight that he is finally getting old.

By exposed do you mean a biased ref that ****** Hopkins nutts the entire fight and let Hopkins head butt and cheat the majority of the fight? Is that what you mean by exposed? The person who exposed Calzaghe first is bika, it showed that the way to beat Calzaghe is by cheating. But then again Pavlik would be the only fighter who wouldn't have to cheat to beat Calzaghe because Calzaghe already pissed himself after what he saw Pavlik do to his friend Lockett.

            1. Calzaghe wouldnt want a rematch because he knows he was lucky in the first fight to come away with the victory, IMO old man B-Hop won the split decision but there's nothing we can do now.

2.B-Hop exposed calzaghe for sure. Calzaghe really had to dig deep to try and control the fight. I think he got beaten by B-Hop. Calzaghe never hurt B-Hop throughout the fight, while B-Hop put him down in the 1st and hurt him numerous other times.

3.i Think they both lost respect. B-Hop lost respect because he didnt back up his words before the fight about not letting a white boy beat him, and calzaghe lost respect because of his **** performance. He barley won that fight againest an old an past his prims B-Hop, what would a in his prime B-Hop do to calzaghe??

              Heres an easy answer...

hopkins is past his prime (at 43 years of age) and he knows as well as everyone else that his career is very much in the home stretch.

i think he will take another fight for the fans and to go out with a win (in other words an easier fight against and easier opponent).

Note: im not a big fan of either fighter but i scored it 8 rounds to 4 rounds for calzaghe...

i dont think either fighter lost respect in that fight...hopkins "buying time" wasnt a good move and calzaghe taking on an opponent who is 43 years old and trying to sell it as something great isnt a good move either...

but overall my respect for either hasnt changed...two world class fighters (one a sure hall of famer).

No rematch because Hopkins thought he won but knows it was closer than it should have been, that he's definitely lost some steam, and a rematch would not change the cycle of time - Calzaghe is younger, and fights hard, not allowing you to rest. Also, Calzaghe knows he had a tough time of it, was made to look terrible early, probably just happy to get away with a decision in America, no need to go over old ground with a return etc. etc.

Hopkins didn't expose Calzaghe so to speak, it was a competitive fight, he won the early rounds and faded, spoiled later while Calzaghe applied tons of pressure..

Calzaghe gained some respect for digging deep, peeling himself off the canvas, and chasing victory, Hopkins', in some peoples eyes, lost some because of his negativity, spoiling, but at the end of the day he's 43 and his legs are gone

                    1. There must not have been a rematch clause in the contract, cause if there was im sure hopkins would of used it, he would of deffinatly have tried to fix the loss..
                    2. Hopkins showed that calzaghe can be dropped, other than that no...
                    3. Hopkins lost respect cause he lost to a white man when he said he wouldnt...calzaghe gained respect because he pulled through after all the dirty **** hopkins did..
