I like Kessler. But he was unproven, and a little over rated. i mean his best fight was against Andrade. Thats says alot, since Andrade is a human punching bag.

Actually Mayweather fought a lot of people. Mayweather could stay in the sport and always have a WW that everyone thinks he should fight. Lets say Cotto beats Margarito, he would have to fight him. Then once he beat Cotto everyone would say that is not enough and would think he should fight Williams. Then after that I'm sure there would be another great up and coming WW by 2011.

You have to choose to pull the plug at some point, why not do that before you have to retire face down on the canvas like many do? Why not retire with a great resume and keep great health instead of staying the game long enough to have problems speaking and such.

He has already made enough money in his lifetime to live comfortably for many lifetimes in just 12 years. Is it not enough to fight for 12 years and still be undefeated and called the #1 p4p by many?
